Mobile gym arrives in the Square

New fitness equipment is bringing fitness to the heart of Palmerston North. Palmerston North City Council's mobile gym was installed in The Square earlier this week. It features a variety of machines, rings and bars and can be used by up to eight people at a time. Parks and reserves manager Kathy Dever-Tod said the gym was part of the council's plan to "make exercise more accessible for our community". After its three-week stint in The Square, the gym will move to another park in late February. It will be up to the people of Palmerston North to decide on the gym's next destination.
